Slow Cooker Honey and Five Spice Beef

Ingredients:

400g diced beef

5 garlic cloves, minced

1 red onion, chopped

2 spring onions, thinly sliced

1 tsp Chinese 5 Spice

6 tbsp soy sauce

5 tbsp honey

250ml Chicken Stock

1 tbsp vegetable/sunflower oil

1 tbsp cornflour, mixed into a paste with 1 tbsp water

sesame seeds to garnish

Method:

  1. Add all of the ingredients to the slow cooker. Mix well and then cook on low for 6-7 hours, until the meat is beautifully tender and falling apart.

  2. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
