Chocolate Rice Krispie Squares
Ingredients:
200g milk chocolate
200g marshmallows
100g butter
75g golden syrup
300g gluten free Rice Krispies
Method:
Line a 9 inch square tin.
Gently melt the butter, chocolate, marshmallows and golden syrup in a bain marie (a bowl over a pan of boiling water). Keep stirring until all the ingredients are melted and form a smooth paste.
Put the Rice Krispies in a large bowl. Pour the chocolate mixture into the Rice Krispies, and using a spatula, stir until all of the Rice Krispies are coated in chocolate.
Once fully combined, pour into the square tin and, using the spatula, press so that you have one even layer. Place the tin in the fridge for a couple of hours. Cut into squares to serve.
