Halloumi Fries

Ingredients:

225g halloumi

1 egg

3 tbsp gluten free flour

5 tbsp gluten free breadcrumbs

Method:

  1. Cut the halloumi block into sticks.

  2. Beat the egg in a bowl.  In a separate bowl, put the flour and in a third bowl the breadcrumbs.  One halloumi stick at a time, coat them in flour, then in the beaten egg and finally in the breadcrumbs.  Place them in your air fryer basket so that the halloumi sticks are not touching each other.

  3. Spray with some vegetable oil.  Cook in the air fryer at 200C for 8-10 mins, until the halloumi fries are golden.  Eat whilst hot.
