Buttermilk

Ingredients:

100ml milk

1 tbsp lemon juice

Method:

  1. Stir in the lemon juice into the milk and allow to sit for 10-15 mins until the milk has thickened and soured.

(You can also use plain yoghurt as a substitute, but may need to thin it down with some milk to get a pourable consistency. Nut based alternatives can also work.)
